THE HOME TO THOSE WHO BELONG by artist Patrick Thai

Home is a place where I feel safe. It is a place where I can watch over everything and make sure that I am protected. It is a place where I am alone and at peace with myself. To feel comfort with no pain caused by a world that we all live in and shared. It’s my safe haven, and I’ve been living in this world in my head when I needed it. Anyone with a good genuine heart that needs it, may enter it with welcoming arms. It is as much yours as it is mine. It is all within all of us. 

This was my first original concept for my first ever gallery show. It was not used because I was not ready to create it. I felt now was the right time to make it happen for this show, “Home”.

Home is also the art community. It is my second home, a place where I can love everyone equally like family. This was the concept that started it all.
